Les Escapades de la Martinière is the négociant label belonging to the cult domaine Les Jardins de la Martinière.
The project is led by Kaya Tsutsui, who saw an opportunity to expand the range through carefully selected grapes of exceptional quality. While Les Jardins de la Martinière produces intensely concentrated wines made for long ageing and remarkable cellaring potential, the wines from Les Escapades are released earlier and offer a lighter, more immediately approachable expression. With a remarkably assured touch, Kaya crafts wines that are vibrant, acidic and brimming with personality and energy.
Production remains very limited, yet the wines deliver exceptional value for money.
