Marie Bourdon

Jura

Marie Bourdon is a producer that we have been looking very much forward to introducing. She belongs to the new generation of Jura growers who, with great respect for terroir and craftsmanship, produce wines of remarkable character. Production is tiny, but the quality is simply outstanding.

The style is pure, taut and precise, striking a beautiful balance between freshness, minerality and depth. These are wines of effortless vitality, where the fruit shines brightly and the terroir takes centre stage. Elegant, energetic and wonderfully light on their feet, they are as captivating as they are distinctive.

Before finding her calling in Jura, Marie Bourdon worked as a sommelier in Paris. She later trained under Raphaël Monnier of Domaine Ratapoil before releasing her first wines under her own name in 2019. In just a few vintages, she has earned a strong reputation for wines that combine the classic character of Jura with a personal, contemporary touch.

Marie farms just 1.2 hectares of vineyards around Arbois, rooted in limestone and marl soils. The vineyards are cultivated organically and biodynamically with meticulous care, and every decision is guided by a deep respect for nature and the unique identity of each individual parcel.

In the cellar, intervention is kept to an absolute minimum. Fermentations are spontaneous, and the wines are neither fined nor filtered. The philosophy is simple: to allow the grapes, the soils and the vintage to speak as clearly and honestly as possible, resulting in wines of remarkable precision and vitality.

Unfortunately, we do not have any products in stock from this producer at the moment.
