Moulin de Rameau
Moulin de Rameau makes unmanipulated, mouthwatering and vibrant wines that is a pleasure to drink, but also calls for contemplation.
Moulin de Rameau is the name of an old water mill that was in use before the French Revolution and is located in the commune of Chambonchard in the very north of Auvergne. Today, the mill has become the home of Sébastien Buissonnières’ domaine with the help of his partner Nawal. Sébastien comes from Vendée, where he grew up on the family farm and has since worked for Domaine Leflaive before starting to make his own wine.
Sébastien works with an enormous respect for the cycles of nature, the grapes and the volcanic soil. The domaine includes both new and old vines with varieties such as Gewürtzraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Gamay.
In the cellar, the couple works without additions, fining or filtration. The wines are as natural as can be but make no mistake; they are made with an enormous attention to detail adding to their complexity.

Below are our suggestions for wines that are not necessary similar, but stylistically fits some of the same markers as the wine you are currently looking at. For each of the producers we work with, we have tried to answer the question: "If you like the wines from this producer, which other wines from our portfolio would be something you would enjoy?".
