2018 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Tenuta Terraviva is located in Abruzzo near the coast where local grape varieties like Trebbiano, Pecorino and Montepulciano grow. The estate produces its own energy, and all vineyards are certified organic. In the cellar the use of cultured yeast, fining and filtration is banned, and the use of sulphur is kept at an absolute minimum. All wines of Tenuta Terraviva ferment in steel tanks, and the majority also age in steel tanks. A few of the wines, however, are stored up to six months in barrique.
