Quarticello
From the family’s organic vineyards in Montecchio Emilia, Roberto Maestri produces a range of highly addictive sparkling wines under the name of Quarticello. In an area characterized by numerous sparkling wines of varying quality, Roberto has worked with great care to reduce the yield in the vineyard and continue the tradition of making spontaneously fermented and unfiltered wines according to méthode ancestrale. Second fermentation occurs in the bottle without added sugar and the result is very convincing. The wines of Quarticello are always razor sharp, uncomplicated and easy to drink, but there is always enough happening in the glass to make you want to grab one more bottle.
