Jean-Marie Berrux
Jean-Marie Berrux is a resident of Meursault and produces the wines Le Têtu and Le Petit Têtu from 1.5 of his own hectares in Corpeau near Puligny-Montrachet. The vineyards are cultivated with the utmost care and knowledge, and work is done completely without added sulphur in the cellar. The wines show a unique freshness and minerality, which is partly due to Jean-Marie Berrux harvesting relatively early and the wines undergoing a very slow fermentation. The production is remarkably small, but the result is extremely convincing year after year.
